1. Restricted entry of automobiles

  SVRK Government Degree College follows that every first Saturday as vehicle free day.

2. Use of Bi-cycles/ Battery-powered vehicles

   SVR Government Degree College campus being in an outskirt of the municipal town, more number of students use public road transport (buses) to reach the college. Those who are living within a short distance from college are encouraged to use bicycle for their commute.

   A small group of students use two bikes for daily commuting. During campus working hours, staff and students walk from the hostel between college and the college campus.

3. Pedestrian-friendly pathways

   College campus has sufficient space for parking vehicles. Roads inside the campus are well maintained. Pedestrians can walk safely through the campus through walk friendly pathways. Entry of vehicles inside the campus is limited. The campus has improved pedestrian visibility, added area for pedestrian queuing, and room for sidewalk amenities and landscaping.

4. Landscaping with trees and plants

   SVR GDC promotes a green and clean atmosphere throughout the campus. The Institution makes sure that the environment is preserved by creating a various activity by Eco club and NSS unit. Staff and Students to keep up the plantations and grass. Ensuring that clean oxygen is available throughout the facility is more important to college campus than maintaining a green campus and being ecologically responsible. An atmosphere that is comfortable for staff members to work in and for students to study in has been created on campus by the inclusion of additional trees.
