SVR Government Degree College have the following Water conservation facilities available in the Institution
The process of collecting and reusing rainwater is known as "rainwater harvesting," as opposed to allowing it to flow off and soak into the ground or into sewers, streams, or rivers.
SVR GDC have the rain water harvesting pits to collect the rain water from administrative building.
The Institution has one Open well and twoBore Wells which are properly maintained and used. The Open Well receives water from the Rain Water from roof of the administrative block and two Bore Wells located at back of administrative block, RUSA block.
The Liquid waste of the campus is managed in 2 ways:
1. The outlet of liquid waste of the laboratory (chemistry lab) is connected to the plants in the garden beside of the college as there is very minimal percentage of chemical wastes.
2. The water from the R.O. plant and drinking water taps connected to the garden of the college and irrigates the plants.
